ABOUT
Riverside Middle School Eagle Band program serves students in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. We have bands to serve all levels of playing abilities. We currently have 4 bands: Beginner Band, Cadet Band, JV Band and Varsity Band.

Mr. Leon Ybarra
Head Director, RMS
Mr. Ybarra is the Head Director at Riverside Middle School, where his duties include directing the Varsity Band and all Beginner Brass. Mr. Ybarra is a Texas native, being born and raised in Edinburg, TX. He attended the University of Oklahoma and has also marched DCI with the Madison Scouts
Mrs. Kelly Miller-Allen
Asst. Director, RMS
Mrs. Allen (aka Ms. Miller) serves as the director for the Cadet and JV Bands and all Beginner Woodwinds. Mrs. Allen was born & raised in Indiana. She received her Bachelor's of Music from VanderCook College of Music in 1992 and her Master's in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2001. Mrs. Allen has taught in Texas, Illinois, Indiana and is happy to be back in Texas!
Mr. Cody Haddock
Director of Bands CRHS
Mr. Haddock is the Head director at Carter Riverside HS. He is also a percussion specialist that works with the percussionists in all the MS bands and teaches the Beginner Percussion classes.
Mr. Haddock attended University of North Texas and also marched DCI. He and his wife, Victoria, just had their first child.
Mr. Rosendo Sanchez
Asst. Director, CRHS
Mr. Sanchez is in his 14th year at Carter. He helps with individual and group lessons/classes at RMS. We was the Director of Bands at Bowie HS in Austin for 13 years. He has also taught at four other high schools during his 43 year career. Mr. Sanchez attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
